About the Author
Jeff Havens was born in Urbana, Illinois, in 1978. He has been a tutor, a high school English teacher, street performer and freelance writer, but now travels throughout the United States as a stand-up comedian.
He earned his BA in English from Vanderbilt University in 2000, graduating summa cum laude. He has already received awards for his writing: Sensored Magazine’s Starving Artist Award for Poetry, 2004 and Honorable Mention for Fiction at the Santa Barbara Writers’ Conference, 2004.
He lives in Nashville, with his wife, McCall, and a very polite dog.
